LUCKY TRAPPER'S REEL. AKA - "Reel Dejarlis." AKA and see "Manitou Cassée." Canadian, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Métis fiddler and composer Andy Dejarlis [1] (1914-1975). The tune has been played by Quebec fiddlers (in 'D') as "Reel Dejarlis"; Pascal Gemme calls his slightly crooked variant "Manitou Cassée" (Broken Manitou).
