MIDNIGHT WALTZ [6]. American, Waltz. The waltz was recorded in February, 1930, in the Victor Records studios in New York by the Moonshiners; Carson Robison (gtr.), Sam Freed (vio.), Murray Kellner (vio.), and Jene Von Hallberg (gtr.). The group seems to have been put together by the studio to capitalize on the success of Hillbilly groups.
