CRAIGPARK. AKA and see "Cossack Hornpipe," "Montgomerie's Hornpipe." Scottish, Hornpipe. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'AA'BB. Stately Craigpark House was built in 1798 in the city of Glasgow by James MacKenzie, a merchant and civic leader of the city in the early 19th century. The hornpipe is similar to one printed by James S. Kerr in an earlier Merry Melodies collection, "Montgomerie's Hornpipe."
