HARE AMANG THE HEATHER, THE (Giorria sa bhFraoch). AKA - "Hare Among the Heather," "Hare in the Heather (The)," "Morning Dew (1) (The)." Scottish, Reel. E Minor (Gatherer): E Dorian (Kerr). Standard tuning (fiddle). ABC: AABBCC. Familiar to modern-era Irish musicians as the popular session reel "Morning Dew (1) (The)." The tune was recorded in 1956 under the "Hare..." title by Margaret Barry and Sligo fiddler Michael Gorman.
