FLOWER OF THE MORNING. AKA - "Morning Flower." Old-Time, Breakdown. USA, Kentucky. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. The tune, in the repertoire of blind northeast Kentucky fiddler Ed Haley [1] (1885-1951), incorporates elements of "Run Johnny Run/Run N....r Run/Run Boy Run/Run Smoke Run," according to Mark Wilson and Guthrie Meade (1976).
