BURLINGTON SET--FIRST FIGURE. American, Quadrille (2/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABACA. The quadrille was composed by Providence, Rhode Island, violinist, music teacher, and dance fiddler Biography:George Saunders. It appears in his influential 1847 violin tutor along with several other quadrilles he composed.
