Irish, Reel. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB.
Source for notated version: New York-born fiddler Andy McGann (1928-2004) [Miller & Perron]. This was a transcription from the 1965 McGann/Joe Burke/Felix Dolan LP A Tribute to Michael Coleman. McGann's source was Larry Redican, who was fond of the key of F (flute players usually play this tune in G). Having no name, McGann and Burke christened the tune "Kathleen's Fiddle" after Burke's then-wife Kathleen Collins. When the LP was re-issued as a CD, Burke annulled that name in favor of "The Clogger's Quilt."
