PA KEANE’S. AKA and see "Ballyoran Polka (2) (The)," "Many's a Wild Night," "Russian Cavalry." Irish, Polka. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. A two-part version is called “Many's a Wild Night.” English melodeon player and folk recording entrepreneur Peter Kennedy recorded the tune c. 1950 with his band The Haymakers under the title "Russian Calvary" (Folktrax FTX-324 - "Everybody Swing").
