MISS WALSH'S FANCY (Roga Ingean Uí Breatnaig). AKA and see “Irish Lilt (2) (An),” "Kane's Jig," “Paddy O'Brien's Jig (2).” AKA – “Miss Walsh.” Irish, Double Jig. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCC. The tune appears as “An Irish Lilt” in Kerr’s Merry Melodies vol. 2 (c. 1880's, p. 27), and even earlier in New York publisher Edward Riley's Flute Melodies vol. 1 (1814, p. 11).
