PINK EYED LASSIE. AKA and see "California Hornpipe (3)." American (?), Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was printed in editor W.B. Laybourn's Köhlers’ Violin Repository, Book 2 (1881-1885) under the title "California Hornpipe" at about the same time it was printed in Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883) as "Pink Eyed Lassie."
