WHERE THE SHANNON RISES. Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’B. Composed by Philadelphia, Pa./County Cavan fiddler Ed Reavy (1898-1988). Reavy’s son Joseph notes that Ed was “proud to recall that the majestic Shannon rose in his county.”
