WHEELER'S BIRDIE. AKA – “Jimmie Wheeler's Birdie.” Old-Time, Breakdown. C Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). A version of "Birdie (1)", popular among West Virginia fiddlers. The Bing Brothers learned the tune from Portsmouth, Ohio, fiddler Jimmy Wheeler.
