MISS FULLARTON'S MINUET. Scottish, Minuet (3/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The Fullarton family were estate owners in south Ayrshire. Miss Fullarton may have been a daughter of William Fullarton of Fullarton, an agriculturalist who built Fullarton House (later Fair Field House) in 1745.

Riddell composed several tunes for the family: see notes for "annotation:Fair Field House" and "Mrs. Fullarton of Fullarton's Minuet" for more.
