KATE OF GARNEVILLA. AKA and see "Favorite (1)." Irish, March (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The first strain is derived from Scottish cognates, such as Angus Cumming's "Duchess of Hamilton's Reel (3)" (1782). "Ye’re Welcome Charlie Stuart" is distanced but similar in the first strain.
