NEIL ROY. Scottish, Reel. G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. The tune is a cognate of the family that includes "Kiss the Lass Ye Like the Best (1)," "Boganuadh (The)," "New Bob (The)," and "New Shilling (The)." The first strain is shared with the pipe reel "Ghlass Ault (The)" in William Ross's 1869 collection of Highland pipe music.
