OXFORD MINUET [2]. Old-Time, Piece. USA; Nebraska. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB ('B' part shifts to 3/4 time). Substantially different than Viola Ruth's "Oxford Minuet (1)," though still retaining the two parts in different tempo structure. Usually known as a southwest dance tune. The second strain goes to a waltz rather than a march.

Source for notated version: Bob Walters (Burt County, Nebraska) [Christeson].

Printed sources: R.P. Christeson (Old Time Fiddler's Repertory, vol. 1), 1973; p. 166.
