HOUSE PARTY JIG. Canadian, Jig (6/8 time). A popular tune for a first-change at square dances (see also "Romeo's First Change." It was recorded and popularized by Manitoba Métis fiddler Andy DeJarlis (1915-1975), but had been part of the standard dance repertoire prior to him.
