VAUGHAN'S FAVORITE. AKA and see “Have a Drink with Me," "O'Sullivan's Fancy (2).” Irish (?), Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune may possibly be associated with Tom Vaughn, and early blackface minstrel banjo player. Part of the tune does sound like the American folk-song “There’s a hole in my bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza…” A version of the tune was entered into the large mid-19th century music manuscript collection of Canon biography:James Goodman as "O'Sullivan's Fancy (2)."
