WILD HOG IN THE CANE BREAK. AKA - "Hog in the Cane-Brake." Old Time, Breakdown. USA, Ga. The title is mentioned in a newspaper account of a 1913 Atlanta, Ga. fiddlers' contest as having been played by Bob Young (Newton, northwest Georgia). The relationship, if any, to the similarly titled "Wild Horse in the Cane Break" (from the playing of Kentucky fiddler Jake Phelps) is unknown.
