FAIR MORNING HORNPIPE. USA, West Virginia. Old-Time, Breakdown. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. A simple reel from the repertoire of Rush Fork, Clay County, W.Va., fiddler Wilson Douglas [1](1922-1999). Paul Mitchell finds that Cape Breton fiddler Joe MacLean recorded an almost completely identical tune, which he called "Nancy."
