CATHERINE MARTIN. Irish, Air or Planxty (4/4 time). A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by Turlough O'Carolan (1630-1738). O'Sullivan (1958) that Catherine Martin was the daughter of Thomas Martin, of the farm of Cloghteragh, who lived on the shore of Lough Key, near Boyle, County Roscommon.
