"Gigue des vieux souliers" (Old Shoes Jig) is Montreal fiddler Isidore Soucy's version of "Ronfleuse Gobeil," recorded earlier by another Quebec fiddler, Willie Ringuette. Soucy's version is slightly 'crooked' or rhythmically irregular in the second strain and in the first turn of the third strain.
