REEL DE FRIDOLIN. French-Canadian, Reel (cut time). G Major ('A' and 'C' parts) & E Minor ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCBBCCBB. "Reel a Fridolin" was recorded for Victor Records in 1937 by harmonica player Henri Lacroix and his band, and released on the subsidiary Bluebird label. Fridolin was a stage character--see note for "annotation:Gigue à Fridolin" for more information.
