MISS DAWSON'S WHIM. English, Country Dance Tune (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Perhaps composed for stage dancer Nancy Dawson. THe melody appears as "Owen Malone" in Francis O'Neill's Music of Ireland (1903, No. 851), from piper Michael Dunlap.
