STATIA DONNELLY'S. AKA and see "Pausteen Fawn (The)." Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. "Statia Donnelly's" is a version of an older tune called in Irish Gaelic “An Páistín Fionn” (The Fairhaired Boy/Child) AKA "Pausteen Fawn (The)", with parts reversed. The first strain corresponds with the second strain of "“An Páistín Fionn”, but the second strain is only generally similar. It has also been called by the names of influential players from whom other musicians learned it: "Joe Burke's Jig" "John Dwyer's," "Finbar Dwyer's Favorite," "Kennedy's," "McGreevy's," etc.
