KERRY MILLS (BARN DANCE) [2], THE. AKA and see "Francie Mooney's German," "John McKenna's," "Maggie's Lilt," "McCusker's Barndance," "Paddy Joe Gormley's," "Paddy Taylor's Barndance." Irish, Barndance (4/4 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The 'Kerry Mills' title was accordion player Terry Teahan's (1905-1989) name for the tune, which goes by several titles. However, researcher Conor Ward has identified the tune as a derivative of the light classical 19th century piece "Silver Bells Schottishe."
