QUADRILLE DE BERTHIER - 1ÈRE PARTIE.  AKA and see "Galop des frontieres" "Galop des pompiers," "Gigue du sous-marin," "Jouée en Fa" (par Vent du Nord), "Reel des dentistes" "Reel du sous-marin."  French-Canadian, Jig or Quadrille (6/8 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Boulay researcher Jean Duval finds the tune also in the repertoires of Alfred Montmarquette and Mary Travers ("La Bolduc") as "Galop des frontieres" (1930), Isidore Soucy as "Reel des dentists" (1937) and Joseph Allard as "Gigue du sous-marin" (1942).
