FIRE POLKA. English, Polka. England, Northumberland. D Major ('A' part) & G Major ('B' and 'C' parts). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBC. Composed by Robert Whinham (1814-1893), a teacher, musician, composer, dancing master and fiddler, originally from Morpeth.

Source for notated version: an unattributed 19th century manuscript in the Beamish Museum [Dixon].
