MRS. MACDONALD GRANT. AKA and see "Mrs. Macdouall Grant," "Mrs. Macdouall Grant's Strathspey." Scottish, Strathspey. The melody appears in the Gow's Third Collection of 1792 attributed to Nathaniel Gow (1763-1831), but first appeared as "Miss Hunter of Burnside" by Charles Duff about 1790.
