ÉAMONN McGIVNEY'S. AKA and see "McGibbney's Fancy," "McGivney's Fancy." Irish, Hornpipe. E Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Paul de Grae remarks the tune is "named for Eamonn McGivney, Clare-based fiddler and the subject of the comic song "The Ordnance Survey Man" (his day job)." The melody is a variant of the English hornpipe "Jacky Tar"/"Jackie Tar" and "Cuckoo's Nest (The)".
