Back to Leprechaun's Jig (The)

LEPRECHAUN'S JIG, THE. AKA and see "Port an Lorgadáin." Irish, Jig. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. Composed by the late County Clare fiddler Junior Crehan (1908-1998) in the late 1950's/early 1960's. Paul de Grae points out that in County Kerry and Clare a legrechaun is called a lorgadán (pronounced lurragadawn), thus the Irish title would be "Port an Lorgadáin".
