OVER THE BRIDGE TO PEGGY [1]. Irish, Reel. D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Roche). A tune was by this title was published by Padraig Mac Aodh O'Neill in his Songs of Uladh, collected by him in 1903 in Donegal from the playing of an elderly Fanad, Kilmacrennan, Donegal, farmer and schoolmaster named Proinseas Mac Suibhne. The reel is similar to "Kitty in the Lane (1)."
