PADDY O'BRIEN'S (REEL) [2]. AKA and see “Hanly's Tweed,” “Harvest Moon (2) (The).” Irish, Reel. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Harker/Rafferty): AA’BB’. “Hanly's Tweed” was composed by accordion player Paddy O'Brien, from Newtown, near Nenagh, County Tipperary. The title honors the prize O'Brien won playing with the Ormond Ceili Band, bolts of tweed from Hanley's.
