PADDY O'BRIEN'S (REEL) [2]. AKA and see “Hanly's Tweed,” “Harvest Moon (2) (The).” Irish, Reel. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB (Harker/Rafferty): AA’BB’. “Hanly's Tweed” was composed by accordion player Paddy O'Brien [1], from Newtown, near Nenagh, County Tipperary. The title honors the prize O'Brien won playing with the Ormond Ceili Band, bolts of tweed from John Hanly & Co. Ltd, a family-owned weaving and manufacturing business near Nenagh.
