CHAFFPOOL POST [2]. AKA and see "Curlew Hills Polka (The)," "Glenbeigh Hornpipe," "Military Schottische," "Original Schottische Polka." Irish, Barn Dance. The tune was called "Chaffpool Post" by fiddler Michael Gorman, originally from County Sligo. Apparently, Gorman was the only one to do so, and the title "Chaffpool Post" is usually associated with the musically unrelated "Chaffpool Post (1) (The).

Recorded source: Topic TSCD S25D, Michael Gorman - "The Sligo Champion: The Fiddle Music of County Sligo" (2001).
