BLUE BONNETS OVER THE BORDER [2]. Scottish, Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBC. Nathaniel Gow (1766–1831) remarked that the tune was "Old" in his 1809 collection. See also the adaptation as an air in "Down Among the Banks of Roses."
