BEAUX OF OAK HILL [2]. AKA and see "Lonesome Katy." Old-Time, Breakdown. USA. R.P. Christeson's Mid-West collected "Breakdown #109" (Old Time Fiddler's Repertory, 1973, pg. 74) is taken from this tune, and is a distanced version of the "Beaux of Oak Hill [1]"/"Boys of Bluehill" melody. This was perhaps the tune that Vance Randolph recorded in a list of traditional Ozark Mountain fiddle tunes compiled in 1954.
