DONALD MACLEOD'S REEL. AKA - "Traditional Reel," "Auld Pipe Reel." Scottish, Reel. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDD. The tune was printed by Pipe Major Donald MacLeod (1917-1982) in his 3rd collection as an untitled pipe reel, to which he composed the third and fourth parts. It is a popular tune and frequently recorded.
