MR. STEWART (JUNR.) OF CARNOCK('S REEL). Scottish, Slow Reel. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by Joseph Reinagle, an expatriate or son of an expatriate Austro Hungarian trumpeter who was once a member of the Old Pretender's entourage in 1715. Carnock Castle is an estate and mansion in Stirlingshire, first built in 1548.
