ROLLING OFF A LOG [1]. AKA and see “Up the River.” American, Jig (6/8 time). C Major ('A' part) & G Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune was picked up (presumably from Cole’s 1000) by the Beaton family of Mabou, and popularized among Cape Breton fiddlers.
