CLEGG LANE. AKA and see "Come Let Us Prepare," "Free Masons (2)," "Freemasons March." English, North-West Morris Tune (6/8 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. This old melody was employed for a single step dance, the Lancashire Rush-Cart and Morris-Dance, collected by Anne Gilchrist (Journal of the English Folk Dance Society, 1927). It has a long history, for which see alternate titles.
