LADY LUCINDA RAMSAY. Scottish, Strathspey. G Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. Composed by violinist, teacher and composer Robert "Red Rob" Mackintosh (1745-1807). "Lady Lucinda Ramsay" was one of Mackintosh's better compositions, according to Mr. Troup, Ballater [David Baptie, 1894]. Lucinda was the daughter of George Ramsay, Earl of Dalhouaie, and Elizabeth Glen. She died at Dalhousie Castle in 1812.
