ECHO, THE (An Mac-Alla). Irish, Hornpipe. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The pickup 'c' note to the second part is sometimes played natural to give a passing feel of G major.

Source for notated version: "Tobin" [O'Neill]. Adam Tobin is mentioned in O'Neill's Irish Minstrels and Musicians (1913) as being an uilleann piper and fiddler living in Chicago in 1912.
