MISS MURPHY [2]. AKA and see “Bonnie Annie (3),” "Follow Me Down to Carlow (2)," "Crooked Reel (The)” (An Ril Cam). Irish, Reel. A Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune appears under this title in the mid-19th century Goodman Manuscripts at the Library of Trinity College, Dublin. Goodman (1828-1896) was an uilleann piper, and an Irish speaker who collected locally in County Cork and elsewhere in Munster. He also obtained tunes from manuscripts and printed collections. See also the cognate first strain of Goodman's "Bonny Anne"/Bonnie Annie (3)" (vol. 2, p. 156).
