DICKSON COUNTY BLUES [1]. AKA - "Dickson County Blues No. 1.," "Dixon County Blues." Old-Time, Breakdown. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Arthur Smith, and a popular recording by him (although the record label issued it as 'Dixon', not 'Dickson' county). The title refers to Dickson County, Tennessee, where the fiddler lived.
