GALWAY TOM [1] (Tomas Ua Gaillim). Irish, Double Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune is of a family that make up the four-part session warhorse jig "Lark in the Morning (1)." Source for notated version : - "Fielding" [O'Neill]. The Rev. James K. Fielding was a Chicago priest, originally from Mooncoin, County Kilkenny, born in the mid-1960's. He played the flute and was an enthusiastic supporter of Irish traditions in Chicago.
