ZINGER. Old Time, Breakdown. USA, Nebraska. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle) . AABBCC. “Zinger” is one of the ‘100 essential Missouri fiddle tunes’ according to Missouri fiddler Charlie Walden. It is sourced to Nebrasaka contest and radio fiddler Bob Walters, and was also in the repertory of Missouri Valley fiddle style exemplary Dwight Lamb.
