RÊVE d'AIMÉ GAGNON, LE (Aimé Gagnon’s Dream). French-Canadian, Reel. A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA’BB. Similar to the reel “Rêve du Diable (1) (Le)” (Devil’s Dream), though it is a ‘crooked’ tune with the first strain having 10 measures and the second 11 measures. It was in the repertoire of fiddler Aimé Gagnon (1921-1997), born in St-Louis-de-Lotbinière, Québec.
