COMICAL CORNER [1]. English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody also appears (in 4/4 time) in the 1842 music manuscript collection of Cumbrian musician John Rook. William Vickers printed a different tune by the same name in his 1770 collection.
