LORD FORBES MARCH. AKA - "Lord Forbes's March." AKA and see "Piobaireachd Dhomhnaill" (Donald's Pipes). Scottish, Fiddle Pibroch (Piobaireached) (6/8 time). A Mixoldyian. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. The tune (with several variation sets) appears in Scottish musician and dancing master David Young's fiddle book, the MacFarlane Manuscript (c. 1740, vol. 2, No. 7), and is an fiddle version of an earlier bagpipe piobareach called "Piobaireachd Dhomhnaill."
